This is a collaborative effort between us and Number 12 Cider in Minneapolis. They made the fabulous black currant wine and we turned it into vinegar then this lovely honey sweetened shrub! The result is a sweet and tangy syrup that makes a stunning sparking soda (one shot shrub to 8-12 oz. sparkling water) and works well in lots of cocktails. I’ts also a fabulous based for a simple salad dressing, on fresh fruit or even ice cream!
