Instructions
  1. Clean yams, place in kettle of boiling water, cook for 20 min. or until can be pierced with fork, cool and peel.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, slice yams into ½’’ rings and place 1 layer in 9×13’’ pan.
  3. Toss apples with vinegar, place 1 layer over yams and continue layering yams and apples until all are in pan.
  4. Melt butter in saucepan, add nutmeg and syrup, pour over yams and apples.
  5. Bake for 30 mins.
  6. Serve hot.
