Instructions
  1. Combine sugar and vinegar in small non-aluminum sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Cool completely.
  2. Combine sauerkraut, onions, green pepper, pimiento, celery seed, mustard seed, and cloves in large glass bowl. Toss until well mixed.
  3. Add oil. Toss well.
  4. Add cooled sugar-vinegar mixture. Stir well.
  5. Cover tightly, refrigerate and marinate for 12-25 hours.
Recipe Notes

6-8 servings
Increase or decrease vinegar for a more tart or milder flavor.
