Instructions
  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight.
  2. Cook in a large kettle, in plenty of boiling water, until very soft (1 ½ – 2 hours).
  3. Drain and mash well.
  4. Combine the mashed chickpeas with all remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and chill well.
