Tofu Peanut Sauce
  • 1/3cup peanut butter
  • ¼cup boiling water
  • ½ lb. firm tofu
  • 1t Clover Valley Farms Herb Infused Vinegar
  • 2t tamari
  • ¼t ground ginger
  • ½cup finely-chopped toasted peanuts
  • Optional:
  • cayenneto taste
  • freshly-minced chives to taste
  1. Place the peanut butter in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Add the boiling water, and mix until they combine to make a smooth, soft paste.
  3. In a separate small bowl, mash the tofu well, together with the vinegar and tamari.
  4. Mix until it is a uniform mash.
  5. Add the tofu mash to the peanut paste.
  6. Beat until smooth.
  7. Stir in ginger and peanuts and optional additions.
  8. Cover and chill.
